Damascus pocket knife
Damascus pocket knife made of damascus steel. The blade of the knife consists of 66 layers of stainless steel, which are folded and gradually forged into each other, which creates a unique pattern on the surface of the blade, but at the same time ensures extraordinary toughness and durability. A cutting core made of Japanese knife steel VG - 10 with excellent cutting properties is inserted between these layers. The hand-ground knife reaches a hardness of 60 - 612 HRC (Rockwella) and is characterized by abrasion resistance and high blade stability.
The handle, carved from copper, is shaped for a firm and comfortable grip and perfectly complements the design of the entire knife.
Damascus steel is produced by repeatedly forging, interlacing and reforging several strips steels with different properties, thus creating a characteristic pattern that has tens to hundreds of layers. Damascus steel is sharp and durable for a long time thanks to the grouping of materials with different properties.
The core of the steel is one of the best-rated VG - 10 steels. Highly abrasion-resistant stainless steel.
Steel V Gold 10 is commonly known as VG - 10 or sometimes V - Kin - 10 (kin is short for "gold" in Japanese). VG - 10 is a unique formulation of steel with high carbon content and chromium, vanadium, molybdenum and cobalt content. The steel is specially designed for the highest quality knives used both in the kitchen and in the field.
We recommend washing, drying and putting away immediately after use.
DO NOT PUT THE KNIFE IN THE DISHWASHER!!!
